MAXXOM and OPTONIC establish partnership for intelligent Bin-Picking Solutions
At all about automation Wels 2026, MAXXOM Automation GmbH and OPTONIC officially formalized their partnership. By combining their expertise, the two companies aim to deliver innovative and flexible bin-picking solutions to industrial manufacturers.
MAXXOM contributes decades of experience as a system integrator in the field of smart industrial automation. Its core expertise lies in complex assembly and injection molding automation, where process stability, high throughput rates, and cost-efficient serial production are key priorities. By combining conventional automation technology, intelligent process integration, and hands-on engineering expertise, MAXXOM delivers end-to-end automation solutions from a single source.
With OPTONIC’s technology, MAXXOM expands its portfolio with an additional highly flexible feeding solution. Bin picking enables the intelligent singulation and position-oriented handling of randomly arranged components through the use of advanced 3D vision systems and robotics. This technology complements conventional feeding systems and creates new degrees of freedom in automation, particularly in applications requiring high flexibility, product variety, and rapid changeovers.
The partnership combines state-of-the-art machine vision technology with extensive integration expertise in special-purpose machinery and equipment engineering. Together, MAXXOM and OPTONIC are committed to making intelligent feeding and handling solutions easier, more efficient, and more practical to integrate into industrial production environments.
