Product safety, monitoring, traceability to date and production batch down to the individual product – that is the standard today. The term “End-of-Line-Test” or “-Inspection” covers a wide range of quality control methods that are performed at the end of a production line. The testing ensures proper functionality of the manufactured article according to predefined criteria. The correct application of markings, labels and read codes can also be checked as part of an EOL test in addition to the product safety test tasks. Only when everything has been tested and documented, the components and assemblies continue their journey along the supply chain.
