Pollmann restructures its global organization

In order to proactively address the challenges of the changing automotive industry and simultaneously take advantage of new opportunities in a changing market environment, Pollmann International GmbH is undergoing a significant restructuring of its organization.

Effective February 1st, the Sales and Innovation & Design departments will be merged into a new international Business Development & Sales Organization. Stefan Pollmann will assume global responsibility for this area.

The 30-year-old, who is part of the 5th family generation in the company, has implemented the integration of MAXXOM Automation GmbH into the Pollmann Group in recent years and put the automation subsidiary on course for successful growth.

“I am looking forward to pursuing innovative paths together with my dedicated team and continuing to write the Pollmann Group’s success story,” says Stefan Pollmann, adding: “By establishing a unified Business Development & Sales department, we are creating synergies, enabling a holistic approach and moving closer to our customers.”

The final staffing of the division will be completed by the end of March.

MAXXOM handover arranged

Stefan Pollmann will hand over the MAXXOM management to Matthias Kitzler on August 1st. With his many years of experience in various management positions at Pollmann, including his current role as Managing Director of Pollmann de México, Kitzler is the ideal candidate for this responsible position. The new Managing Director in Mexico will be appointed this spring.

New management at Pollmann CZ

Another change is currently taking place at Pollmann CZ: Effective February 1st, Martin Tížek will take over the management of the Czech site as the new Managing Director alongside the long-standing Managing Director Soňa Nováková. Tížek comes from the manufacturing industry and has already held management positions in various well-known companies.

Challenges & opportunities

As part of the strategic changes at international level, Peter Greulberger, previously Sales Director, will take over the position of Global Business Development for the sunroof and door lock product groups. Especially in these established business divisions, international competition has become more challenging but also presents previously untapped opportunities.

The rapid technological development in the field of electric mobility also opens up significant growth potential for Pollmann. This provides the opportunity to contribute expertise as a world-leading serial manufacturer of hybrid components to this product segment and acquire new customers.

The strategic changes position the Pollmann Group optimally to flexibly respond to market changes, drive innovations, and strengthen its global competitiveness.
